The 6th International FIG Workshop on 3D Cadastres will take place in Delft, the Netherlands, from 2 October (afternoon) until 4 October (morning) 2018. It will be a joint event Geo Delft Conferences 2018 with: ISPRS Commission IV ‘Spatial Information sciences’ (1-5 October 2018) Annals and Archives 3D GeoInfo (1-2 October 2018) Annals and Archives SDSC (Smart Data and Smart Cities) (4-5 October 2018) Annals and Archives The increasing complexity of infrastructures and densely built-up areas requires a proper registration of the legal status (private and public), which can only be provided to a limited extent by the existing 2D cadastral registrations. The registration of the legal status in complex 3D situations will be investigated under the header of 3D Cadastres. The Workshop on 3D Cadastres addresses developments in the following areas:

Extended abstracts should be submitted via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=3dcad2018 (EasyChair) no later than 22 May 2018. Authors of accepted submissions are requested to submit the full paper by 22 August 2018. Full papers will be included in both the on-line and printed proceedings (available at the workshop), published by FIG with ISBN / ISSN reference. Based on the full papers and the presentations at the workshop, a limited number of authors will be invited (after the workshop) to submit a significantly different/ extended paper to a special 3D Cadastres issue within the international scientific journal ‘Land Use Policy’ (LUP).
