Notes :
1. To view the examples first download and install a X3D/VRML viewer. The BS Contact plug-in gives the best results at the moment.
Download and install it from the Bitmanagement web site.
Select the first option ('BS Contact').
This trial version of BS Contact can be used for non-commercial purposes, with no time restriction (but there is a logo to remind you that it is a trial version..)
2. Use of Internet Explorer is recommended. The functionality also works under Firefox, but Firefox users get, in the current version, a less streamlined visualisation.
IMPORTANT: Firefox users must set the 'Renderer' that is used by the BS Contact plug-in to 'OpenGL' manually (only once).
Do this as follows: open one of the example links above, right mouseclick in the 3D model, look for 'Settings', then 'Renderer', then choose 'OpenGL'. Then go back to this welcome page and start one of the examples.
The plug-in remembers the new setting(s), so this is a one-time action.
3. The following keys can be used to move around in the model:
- the mouse wheel to zoom in and out
- the arrow keys to go left, right, up and down
- the Esc key to go back to the start situation
